Ali C was born in London and first arrived in Cape Town in the early nineties, being one of the first DJ’s on the House scene, and later introducing Drum & Bass and Breaks. He has probably entertained one of the widest SA audiences. His technical ability is what sets him apart from the rest, cutting and scratching to House was a first in CT, and certainly drew attention to the DJ for what was soon to become a DJ culture.
