Hello my name is Ricky Meakin & i am 29 years old, on leaving school i joined the British Army and served as a serving soldier for 3 years with the 1st battalion Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters which is is an infantry regiment that serves on the front line. I have just finished working as a district sales manager for an electric & gas company which i did for 5 years, im currentley at University doing a degree in Events Management. My ultimate goal is to work for Space night club in Ibiza and play for the world famous We Love... Sundays at Space, the worlds best club! I have been Dj'ing for 14 years & run Lovebug which is my own project, i work very hard in promoting new and exciting dj's and have done for the last 3 years we started out back in May 2006 by throwing party's in what's referred to as " The Millioners Play Ground" in Peurto Bannus, Marbella Spain to "The Clubbing Capital Of The World"...IBIZA! and back home here in the U K. We focus on 3 things "House Music" The Good Times" & "Late Night Dancing" based around QUALITY sharing the one thing that we all have in common, the love for underground cutting edge electronic dance music be it House, Minimal, & Tekno. I have played alongside some of the most important dj's & producers in the underground dance scene there is! to include The Freemasons, Alix P, JFK, Simon Paterson, Riley & Durant, Yousef, M.Y.N.C Project, Judje Jules, Marco V, Tom Neville, Ferry Corstan, Audio Bully's, Micky Slim, Tony Haze, Neil Navarra, Scott Lorimer, Dave James, & Danny Nightingale! i have played for leadings nights such as Progress, Slinky, U-Muve, The Gallery, Red Velvet, Lovezoo & Superstar Boudwar, Freq, at venues such as Turnmills, London. Gatecrasher, Nottingham. Manumission Bar, The Orange Corner, Ibiza. TIBU Discotheque, Club Bedrock Marbella, Plaza Beach, Marbella Spain.
